Supporting Roundabout
Not everyone knows that Roundabout Under Fives a registered charity and we rely on fundraising to keep going!
Through events such as the Winter and Summer Fairs and contributions from families and local companies we are able to offer amazing experiences for our children such as trips to Milton Country Park and the Fitzwilliam Museum and big projects such as a new purpose built sandpit (coming soon!) and the play houses at preschool and toddler group.
Here are a couple of the things we're working on and ways you can support us.
Donations
We are asking you, our friends, families and local community, to help us, in any way you can by giving or raising donations. 100% of all gifts will be used to buy resources and equipment or fund our special trips.
A one-off donation, or monthly direct debit, for any amount, will truly make a huge difference!
Committee
Under Fives Roundabout is run by an elected committee, which ensures that major decision-making is in the hands of the parents who use the groups.
The committee is responsible for reviewing both policy and practice, the employment and appraisal of members of staff, fundraising, and many other tasks that ensure the smooth running of our groups.
Our Annual General Meeting at which the committee for the following year is elected is held in October, however new members are welcome at any time of the year.
The committee are constantly trying to come up with new ways to fundraise so if you have any ideas or suggestions or know of local companies that might like to get involved, please get in touch.
